Privacy Policy

PerfLint for Unity ("we", "us") operates PerfLint for Unity (the "Service"). This policy explains what data we do and do not handle. Our guiding principle is local-first, zero telemetry.
1. Your project never leaves your machine
The project scan runs entirely inside your Unity Editor. We do not collect, transmit, or store your source code, art assets, scenes, or scan results. There is no usage telemetry or analytics embedded in the plugin's scanning.
2. Optional AI features
When — and only when — you explicitly trigger "Explain" or "AI Fix", the Service sends the relevant finding metadata or the single code snippet you selected to a language-model provider. By default this goes through our proxy, which does not log request or response bodies, to the hosted model. If you configure your own provider API key, requests go directly to that provider and never through our servers. We tell you what is being sent before each call.
3. Purchase & license data
Payments are processed by our payment processor, Creem. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. To validate a Pro license, the plugin sends only your license key to our license server. Creem may process your name, email, billing country, and transaction details to operate billing; see Creem's own privacy policy for details.
4. Website
Our website serves static content. We do not sell your personal data. Any contact you send us by email is used solely to respond to you.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data associated with your purchase or license by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
